Imax and Warner Bros. have agreed to extend their partnership for three years to cover the release of up to 20 Warner Bros. films in the giant-screen format.

The deal is an extension of the partnership that began in 2003.

Warner Bros. titles to be released for 2013 include: "Jack the Giant Slayer" (March 1); "Man of Steel" (June 14); "Pacific Rim" (July 12); "300: Rise of an Empire" (Aug. 2); "Gravity"; "Seventh Son" (Oct. 18) and "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug" (Dec. 13).

"Together with Imax and our exhibitor partners, we have built a unique, incremental distribution platform over the last 10 years," said Dan Fellman, the studio's domestic distribution topper. "We are excited to continue this tradition and offer these films to audiences in the most premium of moviegoing experiences."
