Thunder Soul Raises Money For Charity
On Saturday, August 4th, actor/producer Jamie Foxx presented a special screening of Mark Landsman's documentary "Thunder Soul" in an effort to raise money for the Youth Mentoring Connection. The film documents the reunion of the original members of the award winning Kashmire High School Stage Band from the mid 70s as they paid tribute to their conductor and mentor, Conrad O. Johnson, Sr. Youth Mentoring Connection is a Los Angeles based non-profit organization that encourages adults to become a mentor to under-privledge youngers throughout the LA communities.
