The CDG Awards are the last BTL presentation before the Oscars

"Downton Abbey" had a change of Costume Designer and continued to wow the guild, receiving the Outstanding Period/Fantasy Costumes for Television award.

The Costume Designers Guild presented awards for outstanding costume design in film, television and commercials on Tuesday, February 19th, concluding the pre-Oscar below-the-line races.

Career Achievement Awards were presented to two costume designers. Eduardo Castro received the special honor for his work in television series including "Miami Vice," "Ugly Betty," "Castle," and "Once Upon A Time." Judianna Makovsky received the honor for her work in film, providing costumes for features including "Pleasantville," "Harry Potter and the Scorcerer's Stone," "Seabiscuit" and "The Hunger Games." Makovsky also claimed the Excellence in Commercial Costume Design Award for "Captain Morgan Black." Steve Martin was on hand to present the Distinguished Collaborator Award to Lorne Michaels.
